The private Federal Reserve system has exceeded all of the goals its founders set out to accomplish since its creation in 1913: The conversion of the dollar to a fiat currency with no intrinsic value, a steady rise in inflation, and loose monetary policies that have lured the citizenry and the government into inescapable debt. The dollar is now by design a credit card that the Fed uses to control us. Think of your mortgage...when you are in debt you do not own your home, the bank does. In the same way, when we are in debt (negative amount of dollars) we do not own ourselves...they own us and we are their slaves. It's called neo-feudalism.

Great article, but there is a typo. It is HR 1207, not HR 1201.

We have to INSIST it has teeth. Adding a three to six month lag before we see monetary policy discussions is about the only acceptable change, and I think Dr. Paul has essentially agreed to that.
