Thanks for pointing out the fact that virtual assistants are professionals. It's important for the Virtual Assistant and the client to remember that VAs are not administrative assistants, but are professionals providing virtual assistant services.

Great article! Having administrative, networking and marketing skills is a great start. Thankfully, through VAClassroom's Social Media, Internet Marketing and Blog Marketing Tips & Tactics courses, like many others, I have been able to define my niche. There are also many online forums where Virtual Assistants will answer each others questions and offer support. It's great to have such valuable resources to build and/or expand a Virtual Assistant business.
