I am considering filing against CHASE for raising my APR from 13.% to 20.99%,even though I have never ever been late paying my credit card payment. I always pay more than the minimum even if just $5.00. CHASE has to be the worst bank ever. I also got the same scam pulled on me,after I contacted then about the APR increase, and I got the same canned answer bull$%#!. So, now I am left to opt-out to keep the same APR, but the account is closed, as well as my credit score now goes down, due to a closed account. America just can't win,nor can Americans. For doing the right thing, we get punished! Thanks, congress, and president Obama, for dragging your feet ,and making us a little poorer.

Chase Sucks. Everything they do is some sort of scam. They offered me $100 a while back to open a checking account. It sounded like a great deal. Free checks, interest on your reserve cash and on-line bill pay.
The only problem is they never deposited the $100. The fine print says it could take as long as 12 weeks.
Did they think that I would forget about a free C note? I ask about my free Ben. They said maybe I didn't get it opened before the deadline. I said I have documentation that it was opened on the next to the last day of the offer.
Well, in that case I probably didn't enter the promo code properly.
I know the old 12 week wait and the old hidden requirements. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. That's the oldest scam in the book. I was in court today performing my civic duty of being a jailer. I mean a Juror. I happed into the self help section of the courthouse and asked about filing a claim in small claims court. They said all I need to do is look up the Crporation and get the name of the person that is designnated top receive their legel notices. Sounds easy enough. Problem is it will cost $30 to file a $100 suite. Not a great investment but I hate to just roll over on their scam. Has anyone ever taken a large corporation to small claims court?
Squido.
