Democrats Continue to Push Fascist Banking Regulation Agenda

Democrats continue their controversial slide away from liberty and freedom, as they move toward a fascist government, which they seek to embed in the economic system of America.

Fascism, as Paxton wrote, deals with a “form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation or victimhood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion.”

In other words, the Democratic party has now become the fascist party of America, completely ignoring the will of the people and forcing evil like the latest bank regulatory bill which would give them unprecedented power in the market. 2010 can’t come soon enough to vote this evil out of office.

In one of the worst provisions of the current form of the bill, which all Republicans voted against, the government could even force healthy companies out of business if for some bizarre reason they were deemed a threat to the financial system. Picture what could be done with that type of power. Now you know why I call this evil, and that’s just one tiny part of the bill.

Another part of the bill will force fees of $150 billion on the large financial institutions in the country in order to have an alleged safety valve for future banking failures. Of course the problem with that is there is no proof at all that banks needed to be rescued or interfered with by the government in the first place, so the creation of this fund is based upon a fairy tale that has never existed except in the minds of politicians drooling at the idea of increasing the power of government over its citizens and interfering in all aspects of our lives.

Democrats and liberals seem to be deluded in the case of banking and big business bailouts, as the American people opposed it from the beginning, so to base much of this bill on the assumption the American people are behind it is either, as I mentioned, a severe case of self-delusion, or they simply don’t care what the American people think, as they wrongly believe they can get away with this politically and not pay the consequences. They will pay the consequences though, as 2010 will reveal.

One good thing to see come out of this is the Republican Party is at least attempting to be a real party now, and have started to abandon the outrageous move to what was nothing more than a reflection of the Democratic party. Hopefully this is a signal they’re changing direction and are tapping into the concerns of the majority of Americans on this issue and others, and not only their base. This is where the Democrats are completely clueless.

Some of the strong opposition to the bill on the Republican side comes from concerns over the creation of gigantic government bureaucracies which will also limit access to credit. Rep. Scott Garrett (R., N.J.). said that the Democrat bill would also “continue the destruction of jobs in this country.”

Amazingly, all of this is based on the false narrative that the government saved the economy. Not only didn’t they save it (which is unprovable), but what can be proven in the future is they’re destroying the economy and the economic lives of their citizens through these misguided measures to blend in with the free market in their fascist way.

The bottom line here, is the Senate must completely and totally reject this bill. Ron Paul has indicated he will vote against this nonsense, even though his treasured amendment to audit the Federal Reserve is included in the measure.
