The International Association of Healthcare Professionals has carefully selected Igor G. Rayevsky, MD, PhD, to represent radiation oncologists in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Rayevsky’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of radiation oncology.  He is considered to be among the best with nearly 60 years of practice. Dr. Rayevsky maintains his own practice, Igor G. Rayevsky, MD, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He is a seasoned radiation oncologist making him specialized in the treatment of cancer patients, using radiation therapy as the main modality of treatment. At his practice, Dr. Rayevsky’s philosophy for treating his patients is to look at oncology as an art, and individualizes treatment for his patients. Dr. Rayevsky has Locum Tenens throughout his career; meaning he substituted in local hospitals when needed. Before Dr. Rayevsky started his career, he received his medical degree in 1952 at First Moscow State Medical University in Russia.  He then relocated to the United States, where he completed his internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and his residency at the Cooper University Hospital. He has spent his career active in the medical community, being a member of the Russian American Medical Association and the International Association of Oncologists; a network with goals geared towards academic advancement, humanitarian help, networking and representation of patients and colleagues in Russia and other countries of the Former Soviet Union.
