Press Release: Rahul Chakravarty, MD, Represents Ohio with Inclusion into Renowned Publication The Leading Physicians of the World

Representing the anesthesiologists of Ohio, Rahul Chakravarty, MD, has been selected to represent his community in the publication of The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Chakravarty represents the commitment, excellence, and passion for patient care needed to receive this prestigious honor. Dr. Chakravarty works at East River Anesthesia Services in Oregon, Ohio.  Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Chakravarty has been working as an anesthesiologist for nearly 10 years.  When he is not working at the private practice; which was established in 1996, he does work at Mercy St. Charles Hospital.  Mercy is a 390-bed Level III trauma center;  the preferred hospital for Toledo’s eastern communities and serves residents of Oregon, East Toledo and Lucas, Wood and Ottawa counties.  Remaining involved in his community, Dr. Chakravarty maintains a membership with the American Medical Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Before Dr. Chakravarty started his career at East River Anesthesia Services, he received his medical degree in 2003 at the Medical College of Ohio.  He then completed an internship and residency program at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, the third-largest public university accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  While in his residency program, Dr. Chakravarty was honored with the Resident of the Year Award in 2007.
