TORONTO, CANADA May 29, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/– An accomplished piano instructor, Lynda Metelsky [1] has enjoyed an illustrious career filled with numerous achievements, leading to her recognition in the exclusive network of prominent professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Over the course of her outstanding professional career, Ms. Metelsky has consistently exhibited the ideals, commitment, conscientiousness and energy necessary to be named among the elite. Lynda Metelsky is a piano instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music as well as at the Royal Conservatory. The University of Toronto is a prestigious public research university that was founded in 1827. It was the first institution of higher learning in Upper Canada. Ms. Metelsky earned a Bachelor’s degree in Performance with a concentration in piano from the University of Toronto in 1978. In 1981, she earned a Master’s degree in Music with a concentration in piano performance from the University of Hartford in the United States. Lynda Metelsky started her career with the Royal Conservatory in 1972, even before earning her prestigious music degrees. She is a member of the Conservatory’s Board of Examiners, contributor to and author of the Conservatory’s Celebration Series and New Piano Series, and coauthor of The Piano Odyssey: Student Workbooks. During her free time, Lynda enjoys cooking and wine.
