Stanford Who’s Who Welcomes Jose H. Torres Figueras PONCE, PR,   September 7, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An accomplished account executive with almost three decades of diverse professional experience, Jose H. Torres Figueras [2] has accumulated extensive expertise in the areas of new business development, account management, sales management, marketing strategy, and strategic planning. As a result of his phenomenal career, Jose has earned recognition in the prestigious ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Employing his wealth of knowledge as well as his magnificent management skills, Jose currently serves as an Account Executive with GE Power & Water, where he is involved with customized industrial water treatment and industrial process applications as well as fuel oil and coal combustion catalysts and additives. In his role as Account Executive, Jose draws upon his competence in the chemical engineering treatment process, metal processing, and mining. Prior to joining the GE team in 1992, Jose served as an Account Manager with Oakite Products, where he was involved in the company’s sanitation program design for clients in the food and beverage industry. He was also responsible for sales and service of surface conversion coatings for clients in the metal processing field. He has also worked as an Environmental Resources Manager with McKesson Environsystem, where he was involved in hazardous waste management. Although he has obtained a considerable amount of his expertise through his professional experience, Jose also earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.
