Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Lori P. Ivie, RN, BSN, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.   With 5 years of practicing nursing, Lori has continued to demonstrate the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Lori’s career began in 2007, after her graduation from the University of Texas.  After she obtained her RN, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), as well as additional certifications including PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core counseling), and BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).  A member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, her expertise lies within the fields of trauma and pediatric ICU. Currently, Lori is working at Cook Children’s Hospital, located in Fort Worth, Texas.  Though based in Fort Worth, the integrated system has more than 60 primary and specialty care offices throughout North Texas. Its service region includes Denton, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant and Wise counties.  A proud supporter of the March of Dimes March for Babies, Lori participates in this event for the sake of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.  This is the mission she relies on as a pediatric ICU  nurse, often dealing with traumas occurring to people much too young, and lives taken much too soon.
