Michael J. Morris Appears In The Stanford Who’s Who Network HUMACAO, PR,   September 18, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An extraordinary entertainment professional with well over two decades of experience in the industry, Michael J. Morris [2]has enjoyed an enormously successful career filled with several significant accomplishments, leading to his inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Throughout his phenomenal professional career, Michael has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. The Director of 123 Studios PR, Mr. Morris is a SAG New Media Signatory Producer who has worked in television, film, radio, theatre, internet, and commercials over the course of his incredibly impressive career. He has been involved with acting, producing, directing, writing, casting, and composing for the past 24 plus years. Among the hit films Michael has appeared in are Men Who Stare at Goats, The Rum Diary, One Hot Summer, and Captain Ron. He has also appeared in commercials for several prominent brands, including Mitsubishi, Kraft Foods, Goya Foods, Nyquil, Alka Seltzer, and Thompson Water Seal. In addition to his natural acting ability, Michael has also received extensive training in the field through the Dwayne Academy of Acting, Caribbean Film Institute, San Juan Students Art League, Karlo Lopez School of Magic, Academia de Actuacion Ofelia D’Acosta, Academia de Actuacion de Luz Maria Rondon y Herman O’Neil, Og Mandino Institute, and Gimnasio de Emociones. A diversely talented and creative individual, Mr. Morris has been the recipient of numerous awards for his performance art as well as his paintings. He received Honorable Mention at the Christmas Collective Art Show in 2005; First Prize Painting at the Festival de las Artes in 1972; First Prize Graphics at the Festival de las Artes in 1972; Best Actor Monologue from the Dwayne Academy of Acting in 2009; and Freshman of the Year Award at the University of Puerto Rico in 1972. Prior to jumping into the acting and entertainment arena full time, Michael worked as a professional chemist for many years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Universidad Central de Bayamon in 1976. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the professional community, Mr. Morris has been a member of the Puerto Rico Chemists Association and is currently a member of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers.
