Over the past 22 years, Carrus has established itself as a successful developer through its incredible work in the areas of planning and design, project management, sales and marketing, and all aspects of financial management, specific to land development. Carrus has also developed and owns an impressive commercial property portfolio. Beginning his career in 1969 as a civil engineering professional, Paul spent over two decades in the civil engineering contracting field, during which time he served on numerous committees with the New Zealand Contractors Federation. He also started his own civil engineering practice where he gained a considerable amount of expertise and experience in the areas of arbitration and contract law. Although he obtained the vast majority of his expertise through his professional experience, Paul is not only qualified in Civil Engineering but is also qualified in management. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the professional community, Mr. Adams is a member of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand, Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and the New Zealand Institute of Management. Paul also has a significant involvement in the not-for-profit sector, being a Trustee of the Hospice in Tauranga and Chairman of Property. As the Bay of Plenty Patron of the IHC (Intellectual Disabilities), he is also Chair of the National Property.
