Weesner, DDS, is being honored for his exceptional successes in the dentistry community.  Over his many years in practice, Dr. Weesner has continued to demonstrate the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Physician in his field. Serving Happy Valley, Oregon, Dr. Weesner has a private dental practice named Fusion Dental Specialists with his partner, Dr. Reva Barewal. He is a board certified periodontist, specializing in gum disease treatment and dental implant therapy.  A recipient of the R. Earl Robinson Award for Outstanding Research in Regeneration, Dr. Weesner has also been published in the Journal of Peridontology on New Bone Formation.  Among periodontic treatment, Dr. Weesner is also proud to offer general and cosmetic dentistry services at the practice. Dr. Weesner received his degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1992.  He then spent time in the United States Navy, completing a one year residency in-hospital.  Being a periodontist requires a separate training program, and Dr. Weesner received his post doctoral periodontic program completion at the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center.  He remains a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and enjoys educating others on the importance of prevention, oral health and proper care of gums and implants.
