Dr. David Mayorga Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who MISSION, TX,   October 8, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An accomplished physician with almost two decades of professional experience in the healthcare industry, David Mayorga, MD [2] has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of his outstanding body of work, Dr. Mayorga has earned recognition in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Drawing upon his wealth of knowledge in the field, Dr. Mayorga runs his own private medical practice Mission, Texas. He is a doctor of internal medicine who specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Dr. Mayorga is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Mayorga is also affiliated with numerous hospitals and medical centers, including the Rio Grande Regional Hospital, McAllen Medical Center, and the Mission Regional Medical Center. Although he has gained a considerable amount of his expertise through his professional experience, Dr. Mayorga earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Lima Peru. Since 2004 Doctor Mayorga serves as teaching faculty at the Family Practice Residency Program of McAllen and adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine of the Regional Academic Health Center of Harlingen, University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the healthcare industry, Dr. Mayorga is a member of the American College of Physician, Infectious Disease Society of America, Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America, American Society for Microbiology, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Peruvian American Medical Society.  Dr Mayorga is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physician.
