Press Release: David Barad, MD, Represents New York with Inclusion into Renowned Publication The Leading Physicians of the World

The International Association of Healthcare Professionals has carefully selected William Thomas Pennington, MD, to represent reproductive endocrinology in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Barad’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of reproductive endocrinology.  He is considered to be among the best in his many years in practice. Dr. Barad works for the Center of Human Reproduction in New York City, a post he has held since 2003.  In the past, Dr. Barad served Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  He is now Director of Clinical Assisted Reproductive Technology and Senior Scientist at his current practice. Published extensively in the field of reproductive endocrinology, Dr. Barad’s specialties include the role of hormones in infertility as well as the health of the menopausal woman.  He is currently involved with the New York Clinical Center of the Women’s Health Initiative on a research project about post-menopausal women’s healthcare.  Dr. Barad also serves the academic world, as an Associate Clinical Professor for the departments of Epidemiology and Social Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. In 1978, Dr. Barad received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey.  He then continued on to his internship and OGBYN residency at the Sloane Hospital for Women, part of the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Finally, he completed a reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
