Sharon Mather Joins The Global Network Of Stanford Who’s Who CAIRNS, QLD, AUSTRALIA, October 11, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — A phenomenal photographer, writer, and representative of women throughout the world with well over a decade of diverse professional experience, Sharon Mather [2] has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of his phenomenal career, Sharon has earned inclusion in the prestigious ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Drawing upon her wealth of knowledge and driven by her passion for gender equality across the globe, Sharon serves as a Representative and member of the Board of Advisors for Voices of Women Worldwide (VOWW). VOWW is an international anti-denominational, non-political organization that is committed to women, young girls, and men who believe in gender equality. The organization’s mission is to identify solutions to problems through the use of collaborations, joint-ventures and partnerships with NGOS and CSR corporations involved in empowering women worldwide. The VOWW website provides a solid, inspirational internet platform of increased social awareness where the voices of the oppressed are heard loud and clear as they tell their personal stories and share their dreams of a better life. The organization tackles a variety of pressing issues, including female genital mutilation, child brides, rape, and several other matters of violence, oppression, and abuse from all over the world. In her role with the VOWW, Sharon is responsible for writing and editing articles for their website as well as participating in volunteer activities throughout the world aimed towards ending oppression and empowering women. She is also actively involved with the Global Academic Writers Association, through which she sets up intercultural tours which seek to help people to understand each other’s cultures.
