The International Association of Healthcare Professionals has carefully selected Hajoon Chun, MD, to represent obstetrics and gynecology in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Chun’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of obstetrics and gynecology.  He is considered to be among the best in his many years of practice. Dr. Chun is a perinatologist at Ocean Perinatology, with locations in Lake Success, Plainview, and Flushing; on Long Island and Queens, respectively. As a perinatologist, Dr. Chun and his staff specialize in the treatment of maternal and fetal medicine with a special focus on high-risk obstetrics.  Through various testing including ultrasound and genetic testing, a Dr. Chun helps rule out or diagnose any disorders or diseases a fetus may be carrying.  In the field of maternal-fetal medicine since 1997, Dr. Chun has also won education awards from the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for his excellence in teaching. In 1991, Dr. Chun graduated from Tufts University with his medical degree.  He then went on to complete his OBGYN residency at New York Downtown Hospital, culminating in a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.  Dr. Chun is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, with a sub-specialty certification in maternal-fetal medicine. A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he maintains memberships in the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
