The International Nurses Association has carefully selected Cicely Ross, RRT, RN, to represent nursing in their publication, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Cicely Ross’s selection is a significant representation of her passion and dedication for the field of nursing. Cicely is a registered nurse and respiratory therapist based out of the Atlanta, Georgia area. Her areas of expertise are in internal medicine and pulmonology; the medical field pertaining to disease involving the respiratory tract. Cicely serves an array of hospitals within her community, including Emory University Hospital. U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of America’s Best Hospitals placed Emory University Hospital for the 22nd consecutive year as one of the top hospitals in the United States. Cicely’s variety of training, experience, and certifications make her an asset to the staff at each hospital she serves. Her certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support and certification in Pulmonary Function Testing. She received her education from Emory University; obtaining her bachelor of science in nursing degree, bachelor of arts degree in anthropology, and Masters degree of Optometry there. After receiving her nursing degree and Masters of optometry, pertaining to health of the eyes, vision, and related structures, she became a registered respiratory therapist from SUNY Westchester.
