Dr. John Peter Uribe Is Welcomed To The Stanford Who’s Who Network PITTSBURGH, PA,   October 18, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — A healthcare professional with over 16 years of professional experience in the field, John Peter Uribe, MD, MPH, FACP [2] has enjoyed an enormously successful career filled with several significant accomplishments, leading to his inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Throughout his brilliant professional career, Dr. Uribe has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Uribe serves as a Physician with Comprehensive Care Associates at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Specializing in internal medicine, he works for one of the leading nonprofit health systems in the United States that is renowned for the development and delivery of life changing medicine. The UPMC consists of over 20 hospitals and 400 clinical locations. Establishing his background in the medical field, Dr. Uribe earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He also completed his residencies at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Furthering his education, he earned a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH) University of Pittsburgh School Of Health Science’s. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the field, Dr. Uribe is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In 1991, he received recognition for his work with the cholera epidemic in Peru. Dr. Uribe was also recognized for his work as a public health officer in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico in 1991-1992. Additionally, he is currently affiliated with the Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC, UPMC Passavant, UPMC Shadyside, and UPMC St. Margaret.
