Press Release: Kimberly Rohan, ANP-BC, AOCN, Represents Illinois with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

[1]Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Kimberly Rohan, ANP-BC, AOCN, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.  With 27 years in the industry, Kimberly has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Since 1996, Kimberly has been a member of the Edward Cancer Center, part of Edward Hospital and Health Services in Naperville, Illinois.  Specializing in treating patients with lung cancer, Kimberly is the Nurse Practitioner and Navigator for the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Clinic.  She also specializes in treatment for blood disorders, survivorship, and symptom management.  A volunteer with the American Cancer Society, she has been on the Board for the DuPage region, of which she is also Chair. She enjoys lecturing to others on cancer survivorship, and giving patients with lung abnormalities the option to receive multiple opinions regarding their diagnosis and treatment. In 1984, Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Rush University.  She is also an advanced nurse practitioner, which she received in 2010 from the University of St. Francis. Through Edward, Kimberly has the important role of nurse navigator:  comforting and helping patients to understand all their options after a cancer diagnosis.
