Representing the emergency physicians of Arizona, Julie M. Johns, DO, FACOEP, has been selected to represent her community in the publication of The Leading Physicians of the World. In practice for many years, Dr. Johns represents the commitment, excellence, and passion for patient care needed to receive this prestigious honor. Dr. Johns works for EmCare Emergency Physicians, based out of Phoenix, Arizona. EmCare is the nation’s leading provider of emergency medical services in various medical specialties. Dr. Johns functions as an emergency medicine physician and Associate Pediatric Medical Director. Through her training and EmCare, Dr. Johns provides critical care medical services to adults and children in dire medical situations. She also teaches emergency medical techniques for the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (of which she is a Fellow) and for local hospitals. In 2005, Dr. Johns received her degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. She then went on to St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and New Jersey for her internship and residency. Today, Dr. Johns remains a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. She loves what she does and has wonderful mentors of the years.
