Dr. Axel Rohrmann Steps Into The Stanford Who’s Who Network CANADA, October 24, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who / — A healthcare professional with well over a decade of professional experience in the field of podiatry, Dr. Axel Rohrmann  has enjoyed an enormously successful career filled with several significant accomplishments, leading to his recognition in the distinguished ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Throughout his phenomenal professional career, Dr. Rohrmann has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. Drawing upon his wealth of knowledge in the field, Dr. Rohrmann serves as a Podiatrist at the Midway Walk-in Healthcare Centre, Regina Family Foot Clinic in the Regina, as well as the La Ronge Hospital in the Saskatchewan area. He specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of foot conditions. Incredibly passionate about helping his patients to fully understand their conditions as well as provide them with high quality care, Dr. Rohrmann helps his patients in enjoying their daily activities in a pain-free manner. Dr. Rohrmann has built many professional relationships with physicians, surgeons and allied professions to assist in the best possible recovery. After graduating from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine in 1999, Dr. Rohrmann moved to Singapore where he set up a Podiatry program at Changi General Hospital and served as the Head of the program until 2004. Over the next couple of years, he helped set up programs at numerous other hospitals and clinics in the region. Dr. Rohrmann went on to serve as the head of the research and development team for ASICS South East Asia from 2005-2006 with Runners World Pte Ltd Singapore. Moving to Canada in 2007, Dr. Rohrmann became the Clinical Head Podiatrist for the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region Podiatry program. During his reign with the program, he was responsible for the establishment of a High Risk Foot Clinic with a focus on wound care, limb salvage, and amputation prevention. He also was appointed as a Clinical Educator with the Michener Institute of Toronto during that time and completed numerous research projects Further demonstrating his remarkable reputation in the field, Dr. Rohrmann currently serves as newly elected Registrar of the Saskatchewan College of Podiatrists, through which he actively participates in research and education. Additionally, he serves on numerous provincial and national boards, committees, and advisory panels that are committed to ensuring the high quality practice of podiatry. Dr. Rohrmann is also involved with the Canadian Association of Wound Care, Canadian Diabetes Association, and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.
