The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Healthcare Professionals are proud to announce that Brian E. Maxwell, BSc, MA, PhD, MD, FRCPC, DPH, is being honored for his exceptional successes in the cardiologist community.  Over 45 years in practice, Dr. Maxwell has continued to demonstrate the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Physician in his field. Dr. Maxwell is now a retired cardiologist; however, after an extensive career he has been an influential physician in the medical field throughout the Ontario area. Dr. Maxwell remains certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology, and holds the title, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Dr. Maxwell was honored with the award of Most Venerable Order of Saint John. As well as being a successful cardiologist, Dr. Maxwell served for 12 years in Military Services for the Canadian Forces; where he received a Decoration Medal. To maintain active standing in the Canadian Forces, Dr. Maxwell is a member of various associations including the Air Force Association of Canada and the Royal London Military Institute. In 1963, Dr. Maxwell graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. Upon completion he studied at Saskatoon City Hospital, from 1983-1984, for his internship then Sunnybrook Hospital for his residency. Dr. Maxwell attended the Toronto General Hospital, affiliated with the University Health Network, for a 1 year program in Public Health; also continuing on to obtain his PhD.
