The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Healthcare Professionals are proud to announce that David A. Gehret, MD, is being honored for his exceptional successes in the neurology community.  Over his many years in practice, Dr. Gehret has continued to demonstrate the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Physician in his field. Dr. Gehret works at the Newport Doctors Medical Group in Newport Beach, California.  He has special interests including treating neuromuscular disease (including EMG and nerve conduction studies) and dementia, and treats most types of general neurology patients.  Dr. Gehret chose to study neurology because of its ever changing nature; the office has the most current machines and Dr. Gehret strives to provide the patient with an accurate diagnosis the first time. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with added subspecialty certification in neuroimaging (MRI and CT) by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. In 1982, Dr. Gehret received his medical degree from the University of Florida.  He then completed a medical internship and neurology residency at UCLA/WVAH Medical Center.  Dr. Gehret remains a member in good standing of the American Academy of Neurology and American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.  He was also featured in the Guide to America’s Top Physicians in 2004 and 2005.To find out more about Dr. Gehret, please visit www.david-gehret.findatopdoc.com [1] and www.newportdoctorsmedicalgroup.com [2].  Also be sure to look out for his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World.
