Dr. Goodman has been an influential doctor within the field of Cardiology. He graduated Cum Laude, and with distinction, from the University of Cape Town Medical School in 1979. Upon completion, Dr. Goodman continued at the University of Cape Town, located in South Africa, to finish his internship; then moving to the United States. At Montefiore Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Goodman was Chief Medical Resident in his internal medicine residency. His cardiology fellowship was held at Baylor College of Medicine (associated with Dr Michael DeBakey) in Houston, Texas.
