[1]Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Laurel Lee Estes, RN, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.  With 42 years in the industry, Laurel has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Laurel has a rich career in psychiatric nursing, and is currently volunteering for Patton State Hospital for the Criminally Insane in San Bernardino County of California.  In the past, she also volunteered at St. Bernadine’s Medical Center for 13 years, 12 in the recovery room and one year in their locked psychiatric ward.  She gets much joy out of serving the mentally ill and is currently looking for a psychiatric registered nurse staff position.  Laurel is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the International Guild of Miniature Artisans, Ltd. In 1969, Laurel earned her Registered Nursing degree at Saint Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing.  She is in the process of earning credits toward her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Laurel also conducts orientation for student nurses, who are hoping to learn from her 42 years of experience in the field.
