[1]Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Mariefel Casino Paqueo, MSN, BSN, RN, CNOR, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.  With 21 years in the industry, Mariefel has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Mariefel works for Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, New York.  An operating room nurse, Mariefel works in the surgery center; serving citizens of Long Beach, Lido Beach, Atlantic Beach, Point Lookout and more. She also works as a preceptor, teaching operating room procedures to nurse nurses.  In her spare time, Mariefel is a volunteer at Camp Evangelista Station and Justiniano Reyes Borja Memorial City in the Philippines conducting admission and discharge of patients during rounds. In 2011, Mariefel earned her RN degree from Excelsior College.  Prior to that, she earned full nursing certification and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in the Philippines, at Liceo de Cagayan University.  One of Mariefel’s personal accomplishments was being one of the pioneering mentors for the Gap Program for the Greater New York Hospital Association, mentoring other nursing students who join the program. She also works as military nurse for the United States Army, one of her latest career acquisitions.
