Representing the nurses of Ontario, Meryl Monica Rougier, RPN, has been selected to represent her community in the publication of The Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.  In practice for over 40 years, Meryl Rougier represents the commitment, distinction, and passion for patient care needed to receive this esteemed honor. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Meryl works at Sunny Brook Medical Center. Sunnybrook is the largest single-site hospital in Canada, tending to 1.2 million patient visits every year; constantly evolving to the needs of their growing community. At Sunny Brook, Meryl is a registered practical nurse; caring for patients who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. She stays up-to-date in medicine by remaining active in the field and continuing her education whenever possible. Meryl’s career began after she received her degree from Mohawk College’s Nursing Program. Meryl continues her involvement in education by being a member of the association, College of Nurses of Ontario; which is a self-regulating association that promotes excellence keeping the public’s interest a priority.
