Kana Gopal Makes The Grade With Stanford Who’s Who SINGAPORE,   October 29, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An education executive with well over three decades of diverse professional experience in various industries, Kana Gopal [2]has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of her brilliant body of work, Kana has earned inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Utilizing her wealth of knowledge in the field as well as her magnificent managerial skills, Kana serves as President of the Association for Living Values Education International (ALIVE) Singapore. The organization, which is employed in over 60 countries, is dedicated to assisting students in exploring and developing positive values and moving towards their full potential as learners and human beings. The program they put forth has been successful in decreasing violence and bullying as well as creating safe, caring school climates which are conducive to quality learning. In her position with ALIVE, Kana has played an integral role in the creation of 16 sites throughout Singapore since 2001. She has also been responsible for introducing a values program for youthful offenders in Singapore’s Reformative Training Centre which has resulted in an exceptionally low recidivism rate and led to a desire to increase the program throughout Singapore. Although she has obtained a considerable amount of her expertise through her varied professional experience, Kana is also a highly educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Economics, and Sociology from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Management from the University of South Australia.
