Ltd., Mr. Lund served in various prominent roles, including Chairman of Fahrni Fassadenne in Lysse Switzerland and UK, CEO of Construction and Construction Materials with Basic Element Moscow, Russia, and Chairman of the European Development Company in Prague, Czech Republic. Over the course of his incredibly impressive career, he has worked on numerous successful large scale projects across the globe. Some of Douglas’s most notable accomplishments include: serving as Senior Development Manager on Eldon Square in Newcastle upon Tyne which when completed in 1976 was the largest Mixed Use Urban Redevelopment in Europe, comprising Retail Centre, Bus Station, Metro Station, Indoor Sports Facility and underground service areas; assuming the role of Executive Manager on an Oil Refinery in Esfahan Iran, where the project employed over 10,000 workers and was completed and commissioned in 1978 / 1979; and serving as Chief Operating Officer on the Imperial Guard Project, which included 2,046 Apartments, Retail, Fire Station and Schools, and where Douglas worked in Iran until 1980 leaving after the American failed in its attempt to free the Hostages in American Embassy. His Prosecuted Claim against the Revolutionary Government of Iran for expropriation of American Assets in The World Court in April 1983 won the case. Despite gathering the vast majority of his expertise through his professional experience, Douglas also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Durham University and Quantity Surveying from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
