The majority of Mr. Rudd’s experience in the contract management realm involves the representation of owners, EPCM contractors, and contractors. He utilizes his wealth of knowledge in the identification and implementation of strategies for the sourcing of contractors as well as establishing contracts and long term professional relationships. The culmination of his skills and prestige has currently landed John the responsibility for managing the contracts for the Alpha Coal Project, which is a well-known thermal coal deposit within the Galilee Basin in Queensland. It is an open-cut operation which has an expected mine life of 30 plus years as well as sufficient Joint Ore Resources Committee compliant resources expected to extend the life of the project far beyond that. Although he has obtained the vast majority of his expertise through his professional experience in the field, John is also a highly educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commercial Law from Curtin University.
