Dr. Maindiratta has a private neurology practice in Babylon, New York.  She has special interests in muscular disorders, disease and injury to nervous system; and is board certified in neurology as well as hospice and palliative medicine. Due to her experiences helping the elderly, Dr. Maindiratta was listed as a Master Physician of The American Institute of Geriatrics in 2012. Passionate about child abuse education, awareness and recognition, Dr. Maindiratta supported education for underprivileged children in India and has made contributions to medical care for the underprivileged and third world countries as well as for cancer, lupus, and multiple sclerosis research. In 1991, Dr. Maindiratta received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  She then went on to her internship at New York University Medical Center, VA Hospital, then was elected Chief Resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine during her time there. Her fellowship was at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center.  Dr. Maindiratta has been listed as one of America’s Top Physicians from 2009 to 2011, has been published in books, and does public speaking around the world on neurological topics and neurodiagnostic testing.
