As a result of her brilliant body of work, Anna has earned inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Drawing upon her extensive expertise through her 38 plus years of experience in the fishing industry as well as her incredible talent as an artist, Anna runs Rugged Island Publishing, through which she has published The Lost Art of Alaska Fishing and The Lost Art of Alaska Fishing Part II. In her first book, she features over 100 illustrations and watercolors, chronicling Prince William Sound fishing boats from 1968-1980. Part II covers fishing year round from the Pribilof Islands in the Bering Sea to San Diego and Hawaii. Now retired from the fishing industry, Anna has worked in the areas of gill netting, shrimp fishing, and chartering over the course of her incredibly impressive career. Her experience in the field combined with her exceptional artistic abilities allowed her to create two amazing books which feature her artwork as well as brief histories of each of the vessels that appear in the books.
