Carat Ventures is an important part of the company, specializing in the provision of advice, research, and trading of certified investment grade diamonds and rubies to investors and traders. In addition to running Primacy Holdings, Claudio was a shareholder and the Chief Financial Officer of Primepoint Holdings Pte. Ltd., which is an offshore drilling services company that provides a comprehensive range of tender assist drilling, drilling and offshore services as well as engineering and projects services. Claudio started his career as a management consultant in ATKearney and an investment banker in Deutsche Bank followed by JPMorgan. Among other roles, Claudio was responsible for G3 Hybrids and Exotics Structuring in JPMorgan and was the Head of North Asia Corporate Derivatives Team with a particular focus on the insurance sector and M&A driven strategic hedging. Mr. Ribeiro is also a highly educated individual who earned a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Portugal. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the jewelry industry, he is also a member of the Gemological Institute of America.
