Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Lizzie B. Jones, BSN, RN, Emeritus, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.  Nearly 35 years practicing, Lizzie Jones has demonstrated the passion and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Currently, Lizzie has retired from her position as a clinical nurse at a Veteran’s Hospital located in Alabama. At the hospital, Lizzie specialized in psychiatric nursing; caring for people of all ages with mental illness or mental distress; dealing with challenging behavior of patients and the administration of psychiatric medication. Lizzie also administered orientations for new nurses in the psychiatric unit. For the past 12 years Lizzie has been participating within her community, by volunteering with the elderly, and continues to do so in her retirement. Lizzie’s career began in 1945, after she received her RN degree from Tuskegee University. Upon completion, she remained at Tuskegee and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1967.
