Zimmerman, MD, FASLMS, has been selected to receive publication in The Leading Physicians of the World.  The International Association of Healthcare Professionals is proud to welcome Dr. Zimmerman into a prestigious, supportive community for top physicians. Dr. Zimmerman maintains his own practice, Las Vegas Laser and Lipo, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. For over 25 years, Dr. Zimmerman has cared for the cosmetic needs of the people of Las Vegas, performing in-office laser and liposuction procedures along with other cosmetic procedures. The practice features a vast amount of outpatient cosmetic surgery procedures, to enhance the aesthetic value of the body, face, and skin. Dr. Zimmerman was initially certified with the American Board of Family Medicine, then earning his Diplomate with the American Board of Laser Surgery in cosmetic laser surgery and medicine. His dedication and influence in the field of cosmetic medicine has been recognized with numerous prestigious honors such as the Best of Las Vegas Cosmetic Surgery award in 2009 and America’s Top Surgeons Award in 2010 by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Zimmerman is also a co-author of the comprehensive Study Guide of the American Board of Laser Surgery, and has hosted hundreds of physicians for preceptorships in the state of the art office that he helped design. He graduated with departmental honors in Biology from Johns Hopkins University and obtained a Masters in Physiology from the world renowned Georgetown University. Dr. Zimmerman also received his medical degree from George Washington University in 1983; after which he completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine in Pennsylvania, with a heavy emphasis on surgical procedures, emergency room and urgent care medicine.  As faculty of that residency, he introduced the first outpatient CO2 laser to Western PA.
