The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Healthcare Professionals are proud to announce that H. Jane Huffnagle, DO, FAOCA, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the anesthesiology community.  Over her many years in practice, Dr. Huffnagle has continued to demonstrate the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Physician in her field. Dr. Huffnagle serves Jefferson Anesthesiology Associates, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Part of Jefferson University Hospitals, this facility has been awarded as US News and World Report’s Best Hospital in 2012-2013. Specializing in obstetric anesthesia, Dr. Huffnagle serves as the current Director of Obstetric Anesthesia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  She is also an Associate Professor for Jefferson University Hospitals, and was awarded with a Faculty Teaching Award, selected by anesthesia residents at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in 2003 and 2008.  An active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology, American Osteopathic College of Anesthesia, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the American Medical Association, Dr. Huffnagle conducts lectures with many of these organizations. In 1987, Dr. Huffnagle earned her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also completed her internship.  Her residency was completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  In 2008, Dr. Huffnagle obtained membership in the Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists.  She has had over 10 articles on anesthesiology topics published in medical journals.
