The International Association of Healthcare Professionals has carefully selected Irving I. Cohen, DDS, to represent periodontists in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Cohen’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of dentistry. He is considered to be among the best with over 40 years of practice. Dr. Cohen maintains his own dental practice located in Seattle, Washington. Double board certified by the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of General Dentistry, Dr. Cohen offers a wide variety of services to his patients. Being a periodontist, Dr. Cohen is an expert in the supporting structures of his patient’s teeth; such as the gums, alveolar bone, cementum, and periodontal ligament; as well as the diseases and conditions that affect them. His dedication to the field was recognized by the prestigious Columbia University with the William B. Dunning Award for Excellence in Periodontics. He received his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1971. Dr. Cohen went on to continue his education in 1975 at the University of Washington.
