Mervyn Olds Joins the Ranks of Stanford Who’s WhoSYDNEY, AUSTRALIA November 12, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who is pleased to welcome Mervyn Olds [1] into its international network of elite professionals and executives and recognizes Mervyn for his many contributions to the tobacco industry. Mervyn is the Quality Information Manager for British American Tobacco Australia. Mervyn is the Quality Information Manager for British American Tobacco Australia, and will be retiring from his position in December. British American Tobacco Australia is a subsidiary of one of the most international tobacco corporations in the world.  BAT brand cigarettes, cigars and tobacco products are sold in more than 180 markets around the globe and employ more than 87,000 employees.  BAT is a market leader in over 50 countries and is second only to Philip Morris International in global sales. Mervyn has been involved with Quality Management for almost 40 years and has made many innovative contributions to SPC and Quality Computing Systems in that time. After receiving his Bachelor of Science, Mervyn served in a variety of management positions including NSW State Manager for Australian Calibrating Services Pty Ltd, National Quality Manager for Smorgon Plastics, and Quality Systems Manager for Rothmans of Pall Mall Australia.  His incomparable standards as a professional have helped secure Mervyn’s reputation for uncompromising excellence. Mr. Olds is currently responsible for software development using MS SQL and MS access.  He attributes his longtime success in the industry to his dedication to understanding, innovation and perseverance.  His unbroken track record of professional successes attests to the soundness of his professional philosophy.
