Bertha M. Lastre [2] has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of her brilliant body of work, Bertha has earned recognition in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Utilizing her wealth of knowledge in the field, Bertha currently serves as an Adjunct Professor with Montgomery College, which is a community college in Maryland with three campuses located in Rockville, Takoma Park, and Germantown. Montgomery College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Known as one of the ethnically and culturally diverse in the nation, the college has students from over 170 countries around the world. In her role with Montgomery College, Bertha is responsible for teaching Ethnic Studies to students at the Takoma Park Campus. In addition to gathering a substantial amount of her expertise through her professional experience and personal research, she is also a highly educated individual who earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Spanish during her collegiate career.
