In addition to obtaining the extensive expertise she has gained through her professional experience, Dr. Bone established herself academically, in a truly international environment, by earning her PhD in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, which was named the ‘Best Place to Work in Academia, Outside of the US’ by the Scientist Magazine in 2011. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics from Pennsylvania State University. Evidencing her remarkable reputation in her industry, Dr. Bone is a member of the Association for Women in Science. Further demonstrating her professional proficiency, she has been published on numerous occasions, sharing her research findings with the scientific community on several complex subjects.
