Emma Ellwood-Russell Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who HONG KONG, November 29, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An extraordinary entrepreneur in the publishing industry with well over a decade of diverse publishing experience, Emma Ellwood-Russell [2] has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of her phenomenal career, Emma has earned recognition in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Utilising her vast expertise in the publishing arena as well as her outstanding business acumen, Emma is now the owner and director of Iris Publishing, established in Hong Kong, February 2011, which is a company that specialises in the provision of a wide range of professional production and print management services to clients in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. The company offers comprehensive publishing and packaging solutions, ranging from concept creation, content and design, to print and production. In her role as director of Iris Publishing, Emma is responsible for managing all aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations of projects, handling the production management of products and quality control assurance. Prior to establishing her own company, on arrival in Hong Kong in 2010, she worked as a freelance reporter with Haymarket Media Asia and later as a freelance production manager for Lane Crawford. In between running her own business Emma also manages to find time to be the part-time Asia production manager for Logical Connections and for an UK-based packaging company. Over the course of her impressive career Emma has held positions in the UK as Production Director of a London based not for profit organisation, Live Futures, as well as spending seven years managing the production of the internationally renowned fashion magazines including Dazed&Confused amongst others. Despite obtaining the majority of her publishing expertise through her professional experience, Emma also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University. Evidencing her reputation in the local business community, she is a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Oxford Brookes Publishing Alumni, and Hong Kong Women in Business.
