As a result of impeccable passion and quality patient care, Bassam A. Dr. Hadaya maintains a position as Medical Director at Antelope Valley Medical Group located in Lancaster, California. Antelope Valley received a Get With The Guidelines–Stroke Bronze Quality Achievement Award in 2012 for their quality patient care. When he is not serving patients at Antelope Valley, he is on staff at Palmdale Regional Medical Center.  With over 30 years of experience in the field of nephrology, Dr. Hadaya has specific expertise in hypertension and the function and diseases of the kidney. Dr. Hadaya is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology and internal medicine; as well as, the honor of being Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He graduated from the University of Damascus, the largest and oldest university in Syria, with his medical degree in 1970. Upon completion, Dr. Hadaya continued on for his internship at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital; then William Beaumont Hospital for his residency. Dr. Hadaya also received fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic. He remains current in the nephrology field by being a member to the American Society of Nephrology and the National Arab American Medical Association; both associations encouraging and assisting in continued education.
