As a result of impeccable passion and quality patient care, Dennis Ernest DiSantis, MD, FACG, has been selected to receive publication in The Leading Physicians of the World.  The International Association of Healthcare Professionals is proud to welcome Dr. DiSantis into a prestigious, supportive community for top physicians. Dr. DiSantis has been serving patients at Dekalb Gastroenterology Associates (DGA) for over 30 years. He joined the faculty of DGA in 1976, after serving as a Major in the US Army and receiving the Army Commendation Medal. At DGA, numerous services are offered such as colonoscopies, capsule endoscopies, and remicade infusions; which are a three hour procedure used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. DiSantis also serves the Dekalb Medical Center; a Five-Star Value Award facility that has been recognized as one of the top ranked Community Value hospitals in the U.S. by Cleverley & Associates. He was formally an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology at Emory University; one of the world’s leading research universities. For all of his achievements and successes throughout his career, Dr. DiSantis has the distinction of being named one of America’s Top Physicians; as well as, Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He graduated from Loyola University with his medical degree in 1969. Dr. DiSantis then completed his internship at Hamot Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Upon completion, Dr. DiSantis attended the Cleveland Clinic for his residency and gastroenterology fellowship. He also has obtained double certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
