Dr. Reid maintains his own practice, Dr. Robert Reid Medical Professional Corporation, located in Woodstock, Ontario in Canada. An orthopedic surgeon for nearly 45 years, Dr. Reid offers expertise in chronic pain management. Dr. Reid is passionate about the field, and participates in public speaking around the globe including in China; where he lectured on total hip replacement. His involvement in orthopedic surgery extended to traveling to South Africa for a medical missionary trip under the Anglican Church of Canada in 1966. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Reid has the distinction of being a Fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Canada; as well. Prior to pursuing his MD, Dr. Reid attended St. Catharines Collegiate; where he obtained recognition as a Rotary Medalist in 1957. He then graduated from the University of Toronto in 1963 with his medical degree. Dr. Reid continued on to Toronto General Hospital; where he completed his internship in 1964. Dr. Reid is an active member of his community, being a member to the Ontario Orthopaedic Association; a not-for-profit organization that encourages research, education, and prevention.
