Tom Kupa Is A Solid Addition To The Stanford Who’s Who Network HASTINGS, NEW ZEALAND,   December 11, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An extraordinary entrepreneur and instructor in the martial arts industry with over three decades of diverse professional experience in the field, Tom Kupa [2] has enjoyed an enormously successful career filled with several significant accomplishments, leading to his inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Throughout his phenomenal professional career, Mr. Kupa has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. Exercising his extensive expertise in the martial arts as well as his outstanding business acumen and leadership abilities, Tom is the Owner and Chief Instructor of Kupa International Martial Arts, which is a martial arts school that specializes in the provision of instruction for students of all ages. The school offers five core programs that are designed for the varied ages and skill levels of their students. In addition to being dedicated to teaching the martial arts, they aim to empower the youth through the teaching of respect, discipline, honor, loyalty, and family values. Over the course of his incredibly impressive 33 years of experience as a martial artist, Mr. Kupa has become a  5th Degree in Kyokushin Karate and a 1st Degree Gosuku Ryu as well as a master of kickboxing. He opened his own Dojo in 2003 along with his wife. Tom is passionate about teaching children positive life skills and helping them with building confidence and self-esteem, and other important attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives. Prior to opening his own instructional martial arts school, Tom spent 17 years serving as a Corrections Officer for the Hawkes Bay Regional Prison. Always looking to give back to society, he works alongside his wife in providing Bullying Awareness programs to children at local schools. The couple also runs an introduction to martial arts program at Lindisfarne as well as a woman’s empowerment program at Iona College and physical movement classes at Flaxmere College. Evidencing his remarkable reputation and tremendous achievements in the practice of martial arts, Tom was inducted into the New Zealand Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2009. He is also the Head Instructor of the South Pacific for the Kyokushin Schools of Karate as well as a member of the Martial Arts Unification Association and the International Kickboxing Federation.
