Dr. Inga James Joins The Stanford Who’s Who Community TAKOMA PARK, MD,   December 12, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who [1]/ — An extraordinary entrepreneur and executive in the nonprofit organization management consulting field with over three decades of diverse professional experience in the industry, Inga James, MSW, PhD [2] has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of her brilliant body of work, Dr. James has earned inclusion in the exclusive network of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who. Drawing upon her extensive expertise in the field as well as her magnificent management skills and leadership abilities, Dr. James serves as President and CEO of Ijay Consulting, which is a company that is devoted to the provision of a comprehensive range of consulting services in the areas of organizational development, management, and evaluation. Serving the needs of nonprofit and public sector organizations, Ijay Consulting specializes in criminal justice, violence prevention, family well-being, and child protection programming. With over 25 years of experience in working within the nonprofit and public sector communities, Dr. James is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations and developing her staff.  Simultaneous to her position as President and CEO of Ijay Consulting, she serves as Interim Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, where she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s affiliate in Arlington and Fairfax counties. Over the course of her incredibly impressive career, Dr. James has served in numerous prominent roles, including her recent positions as Interim Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County and as a Visiting Fellow for the United States Department of Justice Office for Victims of Violent Crime. She also spent almost three years with Social Solutions International Inc., where she served as Vice President of Social Justice Initiatives. During her collegiate career, Dr. James earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Ohio State University. She also earned a Master of Arts degree and a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University. Evidencing her remarkable reputation in the business community, she is a member of numerous prominent organizations, including the Association for Strategic Planning and the Association of Independent Business Consultants.
