Lynda Metelsky Joins the Exclusive Ranks of Stanford Who’s Who TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, December 11, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly announces the addition of Lynda Metelsky [1] to the ranks of professional individuals as a result of her work in the field of teaching and education. As Piano and Pedagogy Faculty with the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory as well as throughout her entire career, Lynda has consistently demonstrated the dedication, vision, and skills required to be considered among the best. Lynda has been on the piano faculty of the University of Toronto for the past 29 years and on the faculty of the Royal Conservatory for 31 years, where she acted as Head of the Piano Department for 16 years. In addition, she serves on the summer faculty of the International Institute of Young Musicians. Lynda is a highly trained piano instructor, a frequent lecturer on piano pedagogy, as well as a senior level examiner. Moreover, Ms. Metelsky has adjudicated numerous competitions across the world and conducted master classes outside Canada in Germany and United States. During her academic career Ms. Metelsky obtained a Master’s Degree of Music in Piano Performance from the Hartt School, University of Hartford and a Bachelor’s Degree of Music from the University of Toronto.
