As Director of Australia Post as well as throughout her entire career, Shirley has consistently demonstrated the dedication, vision, and skills required to be considered among the best. The Australia Post has been providing high quality mail and parcel services to all Australians for over 200 years and is now considered the oldest continually operating organization in Australia. Through a team of professionals, Australia Post operates in over 120 heritage locations across the country. Shirley joined the Australia Post in 1994 as a licensee swiftly moving to her current position as Director. The highlight of her career is reflected by her dedication to relocate the post office to its original site from 1850. Her efforts to preserve the history of the Australia Post and the Avoca Township have led to Shirley being featured on a postage stamp. Shirley obtained her expertise through professional experience while contributing to her local community with a variety of programs and initiatives.
