Representing the surgeons of California, Rebecca Ann Zulim, MD, has been selected to represent her community in the publication of The Leading Physicians of the World.  In practice for many years, Dr. Zulim represents the commitment, excellence, and passion for patient care needed to receive this prestigious honor. Dr. Zulim works for Kaweah Healthcare District, specifically Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia, California.  In addition to being the trauma medical director, Dr. Zulim specializes in general thoracic and oncologic surgery.  She works with patients who are undergoing chest surgeries and who need surgeries due to a particular type of cancer.  In 2009, Dr. Zulim started an Acute Trauma Care program for the University of California Davis with other Acute Care Surgeons; in addition to creating the Trauma Committee in 2003 at Kaweah. In 1995, Dr. Zulim received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine.  She then completed a residency with the University of California Davis. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery, and maintains active memberships in the American College of Surgeons, California Medical Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha.  Dr. Zulim is also on staff at Tulane Regional Medical Center.
