Press Release: John Brock, MD Represents West Virginia with Inclusion into Renowned Publication The Leading Physicians of the World

The International Association of Healthcare Professionals has carefully selected John Brock, MD, to represent oral and maxillofacial surgery in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Brock’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.  He is considered to be among the best among his many years in practice. Dr. Brock works at Mountain State Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, with three locations (Charleston, Huntington, and Hurricane) in West Virginia. Dr. Brock specializes in treating facial deformities, trauma, and facial rejuvenation.  Board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Brock is also hoping to receive his laser surgery certification in 2013. Dr. Rock spent part of his career in the military, working with the 53rd Surgical Head and Neck team during Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. In 2001, Dr. Brock received his degree from West Virginia University.  He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Florida, and then went to serve the military for 5 years.  During this time, he was also Chief of Maxillofacial surgery at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.  Following this army tenure, he then completed a 1 year anesthesia fellowship at Ruby Memorial Hospital at West Virginia University in Morgantown.  Dr. Brock is currently an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the International Society of Dental Implantology.
